Cory Klippsten

Cory Klippsten is the Founder and CEO of Swan, which builds technology to secure your financial future. He is an investor or advisor for more than 50 technology startups, and was named to the Top 500 Most Influential list by LA Business Journal in 2024 and 2025. Klippsten is known for his b.s. detection skills, giving early warning on the biggest scams and risks in the crypto industry, and for his efforts to spread Bitcoin adoption through education. Before startups, Klippsten worked for Google, McKinsey, and Morgan Stanley, and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago. He grew up in Seattle, split 15 years between NYC and Chicago, and now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughters. His hobbies include basketball, history, and travel.
