Richard Byworth

Richard Byworth is a capital markets specialist and co-Founder and Managing Partner at BYZ Partners, a Swiss-based alternative asset manager.

He was previously a Managing Director at Nomura, where he was responsible for structuring and distributing some of the largest convertible bond deals in Asia.

His digital asset career started in 2017, when he built and eventually listed the first digital asset ecosystem on Nasdaq. Since 2021 he has been focused on Bitcoin. He was co-founder and Chairman of Future, the Swiss BTCTC acquired by H100.

In 2025 he launched the world's largest BTC-denominated fund of crypto hedge funds (4,000 BTC), targeting absolute returns for investors in BTC.

Richard is considered one of the foremost analysts on bitcoin treasury capital markets strategies, and is a regular speaker at conferences and on podcasts covering bitcoin and bitcoin treasury strategy.
