Thomas Bollen

Thomas Bollen is a financial economist and an investigative journalist at Follow the Money. He writes about money, power and the inner workings of our financial system. Who benefits and who doesn't? Together with visual artist Carlijn Kingma he created the Waterworks of Money, a visualisation of the worldwide financial system that was awarded multiple art, design and journalism prizes. In 2025 he published the bestseller 'Geld genoeg, maar niet voor jou' (Plenty of Money, but Not for You). The book is currently only available in Dutch, but will be published in several languages next year.
